What are the requirements to be helped?
Pet Owners
Dog/Cat is a senior in need of veterinary care for a geriatric-related or major medical issue. There is not a set list but some examples are dental cleanings, arthritis treatment, age related liver or kidney issues, traumatic injury.
Owners must provide yearly veterinary care, pets must be current on vaccines and preventatives, and dogs must be licensed if required by their state.
Owners agree to provide medical notes or permission to speak to the veterinarian caring for their pet. And finally request forms need to be completed.
Owners agree to provide periodic updates on how their pet is doing.
Shelters or Rescues

Shelters/Rescues must agree to commit to long term care of the pet - striving to find them a forever home and ensure that the pet will not be euthanized for space.
Shelters/Rescues agree to provide periodic updates on how the pet is doing.

I have been a pet owner for over 40 years. I was Chairman of an Animal Rescue for 8 years and was involved in rescuing over 3000 dogs. My family fostered over 70 dogs in that time and about half were medical cases. I am excited to begin a new venture helping pets in need.

My love for animals started at a young age. Growing up we had a menagerie of pets. Over the years I have fostered & volunteered for several rescues for both cats and dogs.
In 2018, when I was saying goodbye to my senior boxer, Cali, I promised her I would take care of senior pups because she was an absolutely precious senior girl.

My heart has been wrapped around taking in senior dogs especially boxers & boxer mixes.
When Kathy and I talked about creating a way to help senior cats & dog as well as those with medical issues it was the beginning of my dream coming true.

I’ve been involved with rescues since the age of 16 starting out volunteering at a local shelter in Methuen MA, moving to GA in 2014 fostering over 800 dogs.
Taking on the deemed aggressive and hard to handle rehabilitating them to be adoptable.
90% HW positive needing crate rest and calm atmospheres.
